Bernie Ecclestone, a supremo of Formula 1, has made a shocking statement as regarding his future in the sport.
He admitted that his future in the sport is not guaranteed especially now that the date Liberty Media chose to takeover formula 1 edges nearer. He further explained that the next few years of his career would depend on Liberty media.
Earlier this week, the stake holders and governing body for the motorsport, FIA, have given Liberty Media their approval. They are certain that the final deal would close before the month runs out.
At the advent of their involvement in the Motorsport, Ecclestone informed the public that he had been offered the chance to stay aboard for three years. However, his statement has changed to uncertainty as he believed his future is in the hand of Liberty Media.
Talking to the Press, Ecclestone said, “We will have to see how we set the company up.”

As per the new rules to be introduced in 2016, the drivers who want to race in Formula 1 have to be at least 18 years old and also satisfy a point system. The driver has to earn a certain number of points from the races in the junior series over three years in order to have the super license from FIA. They have to cover 300km in an F1 car and also should have a valid driving license.
In the rules are enforced this year, Max Verstappen would be ineligible for the race as he is only 17. From the coming year, the new drivers have to answer the questions relating to sports regulations and have to be a part of at least 80% of two full seasons in the qualifying championships. Philippe Streiff, a close friend of Michael Schumacher has said that his friend is still recovering but now he is able to move with the help of a wheelchair.
Schumacher is still paralyzed and it isn’t sure if he will be able to recover from his paralysis. There are also other reports that indicate Schumacher is recovering slowly. Streiff has also said Schumacher is having memory problem and he is also having speech problems. He said that whether Schumacher will be able to recover completely and how fast will he recover are dependent on the treatment he’s getting.
